Overview

Organizational Leadership provides a practical introduction to leadership by focusing on what it means to be a good leader and how leadership is practiced in ongoing organizations.

You'll explore leadership traits, skill development, vision-setting, listening to out-group members, conflict management, overcoming obstacles, and ethics in leadership while applying insights directly to your own leadership performance.

Organizational leadership helps leaders set strategic goals while motivating individuals to achieve them. This course examines leadership skills, traits, and behaviors and supports learners in applying concepts to their leadership development.

Module 3: Understanding Leadership Styles

Identify leadership styles (authoritarian, democratic, laissez-faire) and analyze Theory X and Theory Y and their implications for leadership performance.
