Our SQL Querying bootcamp Program is designed to provide participants with foundational skills in SQL (Structured Query Language), the standard language for database interaction. This bootcamp lays the groundwork for effectively querying databases, beginning with basic database theory, SQL syntax, and constructing simple queries to select data. As participants progress through the course series, they will learn to sort and filter data, use aggregate functions, group results, and understand the basics of joining tables. By the end of the bootcamp, participants will be equipped to write basic SQL queries for extracting and manipulating data across various database systems. Completing this bootcamp will result in earning the SQL Fundamental Database Querying Skills digital badge, which can be displayed on platforms like LinkedIn.

Course Schedule

This bootcamp fulfills 26 hours of coursework required for the UMSL Chancellor’s Certificates in Data Analysis, Database Technology, Programming, and Web Development. Each course is valued at 0.65 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
