Course Description

Learn to use PowerPoint to create effective presentations, from start to finish. Master the skills necessary to plan and develop presentations, including starting a presentation, editing text, reorganizing slides, adding multiple-level bulleted entries, and setting up a slide show. Learn how to use slide masters to make slide templates that are consistent in appearance. Additional topics include using drawing tools, clip art, and photos to add impact to your presentation.

 

In this course, you will learn to: 

  • Navigate through the PowerPoint interface. 

  • Use PowerPoint’s many views to create and work with your presentation. 

  • Select slides and enter text and graphics in placeholders. 

  • Edit and delete the contents of slides. 

  • Move and copy slides from one presentation to another. 

  • Set up masters to provide consistent formatting and layout. 

  • Insert and modify graphic elements, including clip art and pictures, in your slides to provide visual interest in your presentation. 

  • Use Themes and background styles to add visual interest to your slides. 

  • Create transitions to control how the slides appear during the slide show. 

  • Set up and print slides, outlines, notes, and handouts.
