Course Description

Learn some of the advanced settings that will allow you to set up subtotals and change your layout. Understand how to create PivotTables from multiple consolidation ranges, use macros to refresh your data, and synchronize multiple tables. Discover how to set up fiscal quarters, and perform calculations and filtering as well as work with atypical fiscal years. Understand how to create calculated items, and change the solve order for calculated fields and calculated items. Learn techniques to improve the appearance of your spreadsheets including advanced conditional formatting. Add data sets to create a data model, and then generate a PivotTable from the model. Learn to show values as an index and how this impacts your PivotTable. Additional topics include how to use ISNULL and advanced calculations such as nested IFs and logical AND/OR.
