Course Description

Learn to import graphics and then crop, manipulate, and automatically resize graphics to fit inside their frames. Discover how to add elements to your page, such as text wrap around graphics, type on a path, gradients, and tables. Work with text graphically by converting it to paths. Additional topics include find and change format settings, working with master pages, dividing a document into sections, saving a file as a template, and printing options such as thumbnails and tiling.

• To work with graphics in InDesign by importing, cropping, resizing, flipping, and rotating them 

• A bit about color and creating gradient blends 

• To wrap text around graphics, place text on paths, and convert text to paths so you can import an image into it or change the shape of the characters

• To insert “continued on” and “continued from” page numbers in text frames
